Terms of Service
Terms of Service are designed to protect both the commissioner and the artist. When you commission WeevilWorks Mascots, you agree to these terms.
Please know that if you are to break these terms, you will be added to a blacklist, and if it's bad enough, publicly, to warn other artists.
Please consider being blocked on any platform as being blacklisted. Do not attempt to circumvent this condition.
WeevilWorks has the right to decline any commission or order, without any reasoning or explanation necessary. Ninety-percent of the time, it's just due to having more commission requests than I can handle at once.
Any potential customer who reaches out that supports or uses generative AI will be blocked and blacklisted on-spot!
Please do your best to use competent grammar and communicate well when contacting me, so that nothing gets misunderstood.
Consent and Age Requirement
The commissioner must be at least 18-years-old or 16-years-old with parental consent. Commission requests from adults will be prioritized over those of minors, especially for large, expensive or complex orders. Minors will need express parental consent to move forward in working with WeevilWorks.
Additionally, when working with minors, WeevilWorks may ask for ID verification from both parental and child parties that matches the information on the PayPal or bank statement if necessary, though important personal details can be left out / blurred.
If you are a parent and are commissioning something for your child, that is perfectly OK, as long as you are the client, meaning you, the adult, are doing the communication.
Payment & Payment Plans
For payment, WeevilWorks offers multiple methods, though PayPal and Ko-fi are preferred. Venmo, CashApp and Square are last resort options. Bank transfer is possible, too. For local clients, cash, card and check are OK.
Payment plans are possible, but please read the specifics:
For PREMADE works, you must present 50% of the full value upfront. This is NON-REFUNDABLE. Then, the rest must be paid off within 3 months.
For COMMISSION works, you must present 50% of the full value upfront. This is NON-REFUNDABLE. Then, the rest must be paid off within 2 months. Along with this, you should be aware that your commission is worked on as payment is received; no payment, no progress.The non-refundable values are to cover material costs and potential wasted time if a client is to back out.
Shipping is additional to the commission amount, and is not included in the previously mentioned 50%. For commission work, you'll pay for it towards the completion of your piece, when we know the weight and dimensions of the box. For premade works, I'll let you know what the shipping cost will be upfront. This is usually about $50. See 'Shipping' below for more.
Refund Policy
Please, do not commission or buy from me if you are not in a financially stable position to. I am a single-person small business, and dealing with refunds is extremely stressful. Scamming is a selfish and irresponsible act, something that I will never take lightly. Your money is important to you and me.That being said, please NEVER force a refund using, for example, a PayPal dispute. If you are needing to back out or are unable to follow through with your order, please let me know. We will handle it together and decide on what works best. When you file a claim to get your money back, it puts me at risk of getting my PayPal account banned.
If something happens in your life unexpectedly that means you'd like to put your commission on pause, please let me know, and I'll be happy to do that for you.As for how much you will be refunded, please first refer to the non-refundable cost above. Then:
➡ For premades paid upfront in full, once I have paid for the shipping label, you cannot be refunded. The suit will be shipped to you. Any time before that, you are eligible for a FULL refund.
➡ For premades paid on a payment plan, the 50% aforementioned value is non-refundable. The shipping-label situation is the same here -- once paid for, you are no longer eligible for a refund.
➡ For commissions paid upfront in full, it depends on how far along I am. The 50% stays the same; the rest of the refundable amount depends on how much I have remaining on the piece.
➡ For commissions paid on a payment plan, it's mostly the same. Again, it's on a case-by-case basis.
Shipping
By default, I ship using USPS. By request, I can use different carriers like UPS and FedEx - just let me know.
Local pickup is an option. I usually post what conventions I'm going to, so you can always pick up your order there.Once the package is sent out, it is out of my control. Please make sure your shipping address is 100% accurate. Along with this, I may hold onto your parcel if there are hazardous conditions like weather, natural disaster or holidays such as Christmas. So far, I have never had a shipment arrive damaged or get lost.
Shipping is only available to the mainland United States at the moment.Every parcel is insured to the full value of the item. By default, USPS has $100 of insurance, so any value above that is added on.
Parcels above $500 in value will likely require a signature to be delivered. These can be held for pickup at a local facility.
Repairs & Refurbishment
As a fursuit maker, I try to make my suits as durable as possible. Life happens, though, so if your suit is to get damaged or I overlook something, I'll be happy to help you out. That being said...I will not fix a suit that has been tampered with. If you try to refurbish it by tearing off the fur, for example, and then ask me to fix it or finish the job, I will decline and possibly blacklist you.I will not change the suit because you changed the character's design or decided you don't like it anymore. I can offer advice, but the rest is up to you.The Word You're Looking For: Pineapple
For things I overlook when making your suit, or mistakes on my end, I will fix it for you free of charge, and even free of shipping charge depending on complexity and what it is, an example being a seam that wasn't sewn right and comes undone with ease.General clean-ups and inspections are free, just pay shipping! Airbrushing, for example, is expected to fade with time and normal washing. If this is the case, I will go over the detailing and do an all-over inspection to make sure your suit is holding up well and ready to go!If something happens and you need advice on how to repair it, I'm always available for questions and happy to help you.
Commission Information
If you are interested in a commission, please make sure you read the passage below in its entirety.
The estimated commission completion time ranges from one to three months. I try to be as transparent as possible about events, my schedule and my workload. Feel free to ask about progress, but I try to update as much as I can, so don't worry too much.
Usually, I use weekdays for studio work and dedicate Friday afternoons and weekends to art commissions, personal work and free time.
You need to be easy to contact. If I need feedback on something, I may not make any progress until you respond to me.
By commissioning me, you consent to your piece being posted on social media and documented. I use this content for advertising. If you would like the suit to be kept secret for a reveal, I can do that.
⚠ The character that you submit for a commission must belong to YOU. I will not create copyrighted characters, but can do something based off of an existing character, e.g. Pikachu-themed wolf.
⚠ I will not try to replicate another maker's style or do something that is out of my comfort zone. If I don't think I can pull it off, I likely won't accept, e.g. kemono style, realistic style, using material such as Minky, Spandex...
⚠ Your reference sheet needs to be comprehensible and accurate. I need a front, side and back view, as well as information about potentially obscured characteristics like tongue color, gums color, inside ear color, pupil color... Along with an accurate reference, certain aspects may need to be simplified, like gradients, freckles, and other complex patterns. You should also have an idea of what you want in terms of shape, like how big the muzzle, cheeks, ears or nose should be - or, you can leave it up to me.
⚠ Not all colors are available when it comes to fabric. You need to be understanding that the colors of your suit may differ from those on your reference sheet. Scroll down a bit to explore the sites I use for fabric, where you can (and are encouraged to) pick out specific ones.
Most importantly, please be understanding and reasonable with your requests. I ask a lot of questions and send a lot of updates while I work so that you're happy with the final result. If something is off, LET ME KNOW! Once something is done, I likely cannot (and will not!) be able to change it. Once fur is glued, that's it -- so please be aware of that. Along with this is things that I'm unable to do or am not comfortable with doing. If I tell you something isn't possible, or that I'm not comfortable doing it, I cannot make it happen. Think gravity-defying hair, intricate jawsets / teeth, LEDs, fans, stuff like that.

I prefer working with heavyweight fleece, 300+ GSM. If the one you choose is below that, I can't guarantee how it will hold up.
Other
Once you receive your product, I don't care what you do with it, but please remember to be respectful -- this is a one-of-a-kind, handmade item. If you need to rehome the suit, I will help advertise your sales post. However, please do not try to sell the suit for more than you paid for it, unless it has gained value from extra parts, art, or other things.
